I just bought a used ultra seat from a fellow member here for 125. I have only taken a short ride with my daughter but she loves it. I on the other hand think it is more comfortable than the sg seat but I sit a bit higher. Will take a bit getting used to.

 

If it's a comfort issue, I have had 4 HD Sundowner seats and I've never found any other seat beat the Sundowner for comfort. The Sundowner is also the only thing HD sells that is resonably priced. I am going to be putting my heated Mustang seat up for sale and replace it with the Sundowner. Having said all that, theSundowner is not always stylish

When they start demo'ing quality seats, I will agree with you 100%.

To the OP..

You may have to choose between "looks" and "comfort".

With no tourpak, most comfortable seats don't "look" cool on a SG... and the OL won't ride a seat that "looks" cool, but is uncomfortable.

I would highly recommend a Danny Gray or Corbin Dual Tour.....

 

I always used Corbin on my metrics and my brother rides one on his BMW. But the Corbin I tried on my SGS was not comfortable for me. The Mustang was too soft. My C&C is hitting the right note for me. It's hard but comfy.
