Jackpot 2-1-2 stainless with the V&H Monster Ovals here. Love them. They provide the option of having both narrow and wide band sensors installed (works fantastic with a PV and Auto Tune Pro) and, short of going to a 2-1, the 2-1-2 design makes the best HP, TQ, and sound, imho. I will stack the sound of this setup against true duals anytime. As near as I can feel and hear, there is an equal amount of exhaust from both sides.
I went with the Fullsac DX header and 2" cores on my bike. Plenty of torque and horses too. As stated above the placement of 02 bungs is very important. Heat is less noticeable and sound is great. I do not recommend a decatted stock exhaust.
Jackpot stainless steel header with ceramic lining.... Cooler without the cat, cooler with the ceramic and Jackpot has a built-in flange that requires you use a flat racing header washer. It was an easy 1 hour install.
