Took my bike hiatus during the 20's/30's years. Had bikes as a kid and as of 5 years ago started again. Immediately remembered why I loved it. Hoping for another 30 years at least on two wheels. Then again I don't live in an area where cages are out to kill me either. Mostly country riding for me. Enjoy the new endeavors.

Torch being passed to another generation. I like that. Goin on your own terms is the best way. Good luck. You made it through without the firey crash

Best of luck with your new adventures.
You left this adventure on your own terms. Not all do.
Take care

Some things I like as well as I ever did. Other things I like more, or less. It happens.

Still riding, flying, playing basketball and hockey, among other things, while I can.

I've been riding bikes on and off again (mostly on) for the past 45 years. I only hope and Pray that when I stop riding for good is also my decision.

Just last year in July I sold my '70 454 Nova. The wife said I would regret it but after 15 yrs. I had my fun and figured let somebody else get use out of it. The trophies were collecting dust and the cruise nights and car shows were starting to lose my interest. I would spend my Sat. and Sun. afternoons at car shows, you know the routine, pull out the lawn chair and sit at the back of the car for hours on end waiting for trophy time. You can only walk around only so many times and look at the other cars. The worst part was hearing all the motorcycles going by on nearby roads on a beautiful day. Guess what road I finally took.

I too did the car show, drag race thing between bikes. I bought my first Harley, 05 Heritage brand new, and the Mustang collected dust. After that first year and the car only being driven 400 miles I sold it. I sometimes wish I still had it, but then I just climb on the scoot and that is forgotten.
