Here in the UK the Ultra Classic is also a 'twin-cooled'.

To clarify, they are not water cooled engines, they are engines with water cooling around the exhaust valves in the heads.
The cylinders and cylinder heads are still air cooled.
Thus the name, Twin Cooled.

It is merely 35.2 ounces of coolant, a very small step in the right direction.
I will likely not buy another until they come out with a full water-cooled touring bike.

Likely not anytime soon. With Polaris out there selling aircooled Vtwins, Harley isn't about to give away their customers just like that. If liquid cooled Vtwins was all the rage, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki would own the market. They don't, Harley does.

I could be mistaken (correct me if I am) but doesn't Harley have 3 water cooled or partially water cooled engines while Polaris only has 1?

The same remarks were uttered by non believers when our ancestors went from square to round wheels. It did, however, not take long before it caught on. This will too.

The Gushmore bikes are right there over the puddles.

For decades you could identify a Harley by the puddles under them. Harley wanted to keep at least one identifying characteristic.
