As mentioned, I also used a take off Ultra classic seat for two up riding more than just out to dinner. It works well for her, not awesome for me but I try not to whine. So my RKC sits in the garage with the stock seat and with the sissybar/back rest removed and it takes about 1 minute to swap the seat to the UC and pop on the backrest. If its a longer ride I crank up the rear shock pressure to 45-50 on the rear shocks or they will bottom out and mine RK shocks are 1" longer. I weigh 190 with out gear and my wife 120 ish with out gear.

Good luck.

My fiancé says a better seat and floorboards would be nice. I was thinking a louder stereo might solve the issue.

She does like the backrest and 40-45 psi in shocks seem to help on rough roads.

My lady is on the light side and the stock seat killed her. Picked up a ultra limited seat from a buddy for $100 and she is happy happy happy... 9 hr trips..

You think the passenger portion is uncomfortable, give it some time and you'll realize the rider portion also sucks!

I have an 09 Street Glide and have experimented with different combinations of seats and shocks, both of which will have an affect on her riding experience. If you want the best ride possible then switch your shocks to these http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...le-rear-shocks and buy a Harley Sundowner seat. This is the combination I have on my Street Glide and my lady will ride all day long without complaint. The only problem is the Sundowner seat is big and bulky and doesn't look as cool as the stock seat. If you want to retain the stock seat look and have some much improved comfort then send you stock seat to MeanCityCycles http://www.meancitycycles.com/index....age&Itemid=227 to get reworked. These guys do a great job for a reasonable price.

Get a new seat to keep her comfortable and happy. That's what I did on my 08 SG. Mustang makes a two-piece touring seat. So, when you're solo you can take the passenger seat off and let that fender shine.

My wife says the stock seat is comfy for up to 2 hours. I have a sissy bar for anytime she is on and a tour Pak for any trips of length. She said the tour Pak is like a couch back there.

My better 1/2, well she lasted 30 minutes with the stock seat!!!

I bought a mustang solo seat and the removable pillion pad for her and now shes happy for hours at a time.

The mustang removable pillion pads have alot better padding for the passenger.

A back rest for her is a must too..

Go to your dealership and ask and see if they have any loaner seats or seats that are just for trying out. Many do, it is in their best interest!!
