[QUOTEsspilot;13172409]Honda oil in a Harley. The world is ending.[/QUOTE]

I've got 90,000 miles on my 09 Ultra, been running Mobil One full synthetic 15-50 for the last 75K(walmart has it right now $22 for 5qt jug). ran through Death Valley the first week of July, 117 degrees, change at 5k to 7k intervals. doesn't burn a drop, how many miles on your Honda oil?

AMSOIL did a study of motorcycle oils in 2006. Below is a link to the study. Mobil 1 V-Twin is ranked #2 behind AMSOIL. I use Mobil 1 V-twin based on the study and I can get it at Wal-mart for $9.98 a qt.

40w delo in my bikes during summer...20/50 w in winter months...it's the bomb!! My 12 RG likes the M1...

When I switched from Syn 3 to Mobil 1 V-Twin the only thing I noticed was that my wallet was a little heavier.

I've been running the same in mine. Regular Mobil 1 15W-50 from walmart in my 08. 107,000 miles and last tank got 46 mpg. I commute in Houston bumper to bumper traffic on 95 plus degree days all the time. Love it....the oil that is. 95 in Houston traffic sucks.

Rotella 15w-40 works fine in a twin cam. I use it year around in both the crankcase and the primary.
