I love the sound of those in the clip but am worried about losing torque. 1 or 2 pounds of torque, I'd never feel, but if it's substantial...

Wrong I know but I assumed that wouldn't be a problem so I'm glad you asked.

Anyone notice a difference in torque once you had these pipes/slip-ons installed?

thanks

I have 2.5" high flow baffles in my Rineharts and I haven't noticed any lose of torque with seat of the pants dyno. I have noticed a significant hp gain however. I would think that the 450's with 2.5" baffles would be comparable. I haven't seen the OS 450's in person yet, but I like the look and sound from videos.

Makes me wonder if those brackets are rubber mounted to the saddlebag supports?

Hi guys... Im having the same dilemma...
When I watch the videos of the 450's... Im completely sold!
...my buddy wants to sell me his old set of Monsters for half the price... so Im not sure if i should go with the savings... or the awesomeness!

...Im also slightly nervous that the 450's are too much?? Long trips?? ... but man they sound good!

I'll throw my $.02 cents in I guess. I got the Vance & Hines 4.5" HO round cut slips on and I'll swear by them. Best sounding slip-on muffler out there IMO. 4.5" Fills in the underside of the saddlebags nicely. Deep sounding, nice & throaty Just looks perfect on the SGS. They actually seem to get a tad louder as they get hotter if that makes any sense. And I can still hear the sound system at 65-70 mph. Made the right choice for me.

X2, Im very happy with them. Mine do get louder as they get hot also but they are not real loud. They are not inexpensive tho
