I put them on my 2014. 10,000 miles and they work great.

I am looking at the HD premiums as well as the Progressives. I've heard that the more you weigh, the more you notice a difference stepping up from the factory air shock. I'm about 175, will I notice much of a difference? Want to make sure it is worth the investment. I have 2013 SG.

Thx

This is true. I have them currently on my 02 and they do ride nice. I've put about 300 miles on it mostly 2 up. I can tell in the dips and uneven pavement the rear sometimes feels squirrelly. It did not seem to do that before and I don't notice it riding alone. I'll most likely switch back to my old shock that also worked just fine.

I guess I'll be the naysayer. Had them for about 4K miles and finally gave up on them. They were just way to stiff for me. I went to progressive 944's and they are WAY better.

I'll be looking to pick up a pair of 13". A slightly used pair would be nice.

You might want to give the guys at Pro-Action Suspension a call. They are producing some very nice quality stuff that works very well. I have a set that I'm testing right now. So far they seem to be awesome. But I want to get some road time on them so I can share some real life feedback, both solo and two up. They are a household name in the Motocross world, so I think they know what their doing. You'll see in the classified section I have a set of premium ride shocks for sale, brand new, but they are 12".

I have a 2013 FLTRX and like the current height.... should I get the standard or short version?

I am kind of leaning towards the 944's. Although my riding is nearly all solo, I weigh in close to 300 and kind of like the idea of a heavier spring.
