Talking Moved from wide glide to street glide!!

Well, about a month and half ago I sold my beloved 07 wide glide, and bought a 09 street glide. I think I got a fair deal on it, it was bone stock with only 11,000 miles on it, and serviced at the dealer since new. It was denim pewter, which I didn't care for, but I do a little paint as a hobby, so I painted it dark candy apple red metallic. It looked good on the chip chart, looked good in the can, but looked like lip stick, or finger nail polish on the bike, so I rode it for a week, tore it apart again and painted it black. So far I have put mustang vintage solo seats on it, a klock works wind shield, dragon wings, and passing lamps. So far I love it. This past weekend I installed vented lowers, I like the way they look, but now I smell exhaust. Any one else have to deal with this after installing lowers? Here's a few pics.

Never smelled exhaust when I installed mine but I really felt the heat on my right leg and my passenger feels it near her foot. Installed the mid-fram air deflectors to solve that.

Does not make sense.......opposite end of the bike, unless you have a leak at the jugs and it's circulating around the front of the bike cause the lowers you installed are reducing air flow. Open up the vents and see if the smell goes away. I know you want them closed for cold weather......just an experiment/process of elimination.

BTW nice paint job..........can't do that with mine, Midnight Pearl is $200+ a quart.......LOL
