Default 30K Thinking of se 255 cams, pump and Lifters

Looking for opinions, I now have 30K on my 09 flhtc and lifters starting to make noise at start-up maybe for 5-40 seconds or so, longer when cold, thinking of doing the SE255 cams, SE cam Plate with new High flow Pump, tensioners and Chains and SE lifters with ADJ push-rods, looking for any feedback and if its worth doing or not or is it just wasting money and make it not reliable. runs good now and wasn't sure if it was a good idea to open it up or not

Thanks for any input

You already have the upgraded tensioners and chain. The pump and cam plate are a good idea if you are seeing any sumping issues and you can probably find a better cam than the 255 for the 96" motor.
Ill let others chime in on cam choice.

Even though you have "B" lifters, which are more reliable than the later "C" version if they are taking time to pump up, change them out ASAP. Mine did that and one of them went bad and took out oil pump assembly and cam support plate, all covered under ESP. Now I'm hoping if I have any further issues they happen in the next year before my ESP expires.

Get S&S lifter and be done with it.

The plate and pump are a waste in mild builds and ya already have the tensioners and Chains. Do cam, lifters and bearings along with proper tune. SE lifters aren't that great and while 255s are as terrible in a 96 as in a 103 there are much better choices out there. If it was me it would get SE cam bearings, comp lifters and Andrews 48s. Great bang for the buck.
