Default 14s to 16s

I read a few times before I got my bars that alot of people wished they went taller. I am now part of that group lol.. I had 18s with 4 in risers on my fxst and loved the feel of it. I'm currently running 14 kst mayhems on my so and I'm thinking it's time to go up to 16..I did the work myself and have enough length on the wires to just swap the bars..

ALWAYS go one step up from where you decide... i went with 14's on my SG and wished the whole time i had went 16's. so i went 18's on the RG, would have considered 20's but they werent offered in my style

Just got with eastern pc and I ordered extensions for 12-14 so I'll have to extend them more.. Not much more work tho.. I have plenty of solder and extra wires laying around

are you sure you wont have enough? after i extended mine for the 14's i have tons left that could have facilitated 16's easily. might be worth looking at to save the trouble of soldering again.

I just had the outer fairing off last weekend and if I remember correctly I didn't have alot more of excess on the throttle side.. I know I have enough to get thru the bars but don't think I have enough to hook everything up in the stock location

I don't mind doing it, it's really easy after yous have done it once.. My neighbor is going to buy my current bars so I won't have to add much if my own money to get the 16s.. He wants to extend the wires himself instead of buy a kit so it looks like I'll be doing it for him. He also has a custom painted inner fairing to put on

I think I made up my mind on 18 LA choppers twin peaks about the same price and close to the kst's I have now.. After I went outside to kinda see where 18 would be I realized my cables might not fit lol so looks like my order is in hold untill I take the fairing off
