Default Headlight adjustment???

Got a ride in the dark in with the newly converted Road Glide fairing, and I will need to do some adjusting. They are pointing down to far. My question is, is there a spec as to the correct adjustment, or can I just wing it until I think it's good?

Not sure on your bike, (it's in the manual). Mine is 36" to center at 25'. But i adjust it to where I can see best.

At 25', center of beam should be same elevation as center of headlight on the bike. Have someone hold up the bike and you measure center of head light to ground. Mark that with some blue tape on a wall. 25' is from center of front axle to previously mentioned wall.

Adjust away!!! 4.5 mm socket is required, not easy to find.

When I installed Day Makers, I used the garage door as my "wall" ...I put painters tape to mark my spot. I had no one to hold the bike up, so I poppped my lift under it and just tapped the lift a few times till the bike was erect, but still on the ground fully. Also, I used painters tape to mark my spot on my drive way. I left both sets of painters tape on the drive way and garage door. because I ended up needed to readjust after some test riding....once I was sure I was perfect, I removed both sets of painters tape

Check out this Daniel Stern link: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

Just replaced my reflector & bulb, as well as added Custom Dynamic's Dynamic Ringz. His Aim tech piece worked well for me.
