this is rutting season - the bucks are looking out of their one-eyed head and can't see cars/bikes on the road...

I had a close encounter Friday (thank God there were only two deer crossing not the usual three) and when I got home my neighbor showed me where he had just hit one earlier. Lucky he was able to stop the bike upright and ride it home.

I was 3 minutes behind this accident leaving myrtle beach last year. Foggy morning and they never saw it.

Glad you're OK.
Happened to me a couple of months ago. I've been lucky, the deer jumped right over the bike. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...close-one.html

Up here they put 10 foot fences along highways to try to prevent that, but it does'nt always work!

Glad you're ok bro!!! I know that's one of my fears, the way that I go to and from work (tree lined road) sometimes it's really early in the morning or really late in the evening, I always ride a little more cautiously...

Mister Breeze, my one year anniversary will be in ten days, mine is exactly the same as yours. Little road rash and sore joints, totaled bike and Rushmore in the garage.

Glad everyone was okay and walked away!!
