I literally just received my brand-new long ride Shields Ultra recurve 7 inch dark tint windshield. Put it on my street glide and looks great but one inch taller than I would like it for preference of looks. I have not even taken it for a ride accept 5 miles to try out but I can tell you from other LSR Shields I have ridden with they are amazing at keeping the wind from being turbulent and not having buffeting. Basically looking to just trade for a LSR Ultra 6 inch in dark tint OR a klock Werks flare 6.5 inch in dark tint (or black). Maybe another windshield that is a similar recurve design as those two. This windshield was mounted on my bike but no scratches. Has certificate of authenticity, install instructions, LSR box. Let me know if you would like to trade. Send me a PM.

I just got my 8" Ultra dark tint LRS and its great but I am looking for a 7" Ultra dark or medium tint also.Now,if you can't trade it,I will offer you 50.00 shipped for it since you know you can buy it shipped for 69.00.

 

Just drill the holes 1" center to center above the original ones to drop it down. I did it on my 8 1/2" Klockwerks and it came out perfect.

 

I agree 100%!!! If you have a step bit, use that.

thanks for the input guys but I can't bring myself to butchering my brand new shield. I have modified old shields numerous times I know exactly what you're talking about. I rode again today with the shield and man its amazing at keeping the Clean Air on you and the turbulent air off you. Still looking to trade for someone that has one that is one inch shorter or another similar recurve that is 6". Let me know if you have a trade. Thanks
