1995-2013 Hard Saddlebag liners - glue in
45 usd shipped, CONUS only. PayPal as Gift, otherwise 47 usd.
Limited # available at this point in time. for stock saddlebags, NOT stretched.
Price change guys, sorry... I found out it is too labor/time intensive to just do them for the original price...
I just looked on the web and they go - similar ones for 60+. still cheaper to get them from me.
and, trust me, I am **** (ask wife!) so no half ***'d cut liners, etc.
Those that already opt in via PM, I WILL honor the original price as I am a man of my word.
this is for left and right bag - no lids as IMO they will not look good enough.
Color of liners is black. material will hold velcro tapee. so you can "build" loops to put your glasses in etc etc
these are glue in ones, not drop ins. takes about 3 beers to do 2 bags (60-90 minutes)
What you will get:
- instructions on paper (pictures, material list to get, etc)
- 2 bottoms (3/16" hardboard pre-shaped (minor sanding might be needed depending on your bag as bags slightly differ from time to time)
- 2 bottom liners
- 2 large liners (covers 3 sides)
- 2 smaller liners (covers bike side of the saddlebag)
- 1 wooden squeegee
what you need is:
- spray glue (1 x 13 oz; Loctite 200 works "the best" - Wmart /HD / Lowes run them for about 7-8 bucks)
- some painters tape (preferably blue)
- plastic (garbage bags will work just fine; I like to be safe and covered up the outside of the bag with it over potential overspray of the glue)
- cardboard to cut temp bottom to prevent overspray
- old newspapers or large paper to put underneath liners when spraying the back with glue
- razor blade - utility blade type
- paint thinner (for clean up of glue on liner if applicable)
due to the hardboard bottom you can still store minor stuff underneath them (like small toolset, etc).
pictures below show 1 set of liners, meaning 1 bag. you will get 2.
also pics of how they will look in the bag. ignore the "gray" color in the bag, that is the sun.
FYI these do NOT fit 2014 bags.
