Did you happen to have passenger grab handles? I know they say it won't go but they say a lot of things..

Deleted. I went and test fit this seat at the dealer. Doesn't fit well with the adjustable backrest.

 

I had the grab handles on the bike but you do have to remove them for the seat to fit correct; just unbolt the grab handles and the seat fits fine. I also have the HD adjustable driver backrest, the one which has the cable adjustment, and that works well with the seat.
