Default Fork mounted wind deflectors (new style)

I have a pair of the new style Harley Davidson fork mounted wind deflectors for sale. I bought these last weekend and installed them then took a 200 mile ride. They work to eliminating the wind buffeting coming up from around the tank but I could not get use to the look. They are in new condition with the only marks being right around the mounting hole which is covered by the turn signal housing. I paid $97 from HD with taxes and would sale them for $75 obo shipped to the lower 48 states.

HD part #57400146A

This is not my bike but they are the wind deflectors mounted on a street glide.

Webo,

Just an idea, have them Powder Coated the same color as your bike, makes a world of difference. The Chrome just sticks out too much IMO.

I had mine coated Gloss Black, blends right in to my Vivid Black bike.

My bike is Charcoal pearl so I'm not sure powder coating them would help a lot. They did look bad, I just didn't care for the look. Several buddies thought they looked good and added more chrome but just wasn't my thing. If no one wants them I might put them back on in winter when I'm freezing my butt off...lol

On a trip to Canada, I had to stop at a dealership to buy, what I thought, was those ugly, old style "fangs" I used to have on my softail. The guy pulled these out--he didn't even have them on the shelf---he threw them on for me and I enjoyed the next 4 days of my trip. I sent lots of pics to my friends as I traveled and they all asked about those reflectors and mentioned how they liked them---came back home---they all like them. I haven't taken them off!!!! I thought I woudn't like them, but I love the look.

As Webo stated---he didn't like the look----but I can attest that they work great even if you just use them for long trips.....and u may just keep them on

They do work. I have just the fangs and the Clearview Recurve shield and no buffeting but I do get a nice breeze. As far as the look, I don't really even notice them now and never thougth they looked bad. Guess it's just personal opinion but if I didn't already have some I would buy these up in a heartbeat.

Flexibility is always a good thing. That's why so many accessories are QD.
