Did you get any on your face or eye protection? That's a lot of paint. Yes, take it to a pro.

I verified there is nothing on the helmet for mine nor my wife's (she was on the back).

I'm taking the bike to the dealer today after a Ohio PGR memorial mission this afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon the insurance adjuster will be here.

I tried what I can and will be letting a pro complete the process.

Here's one more pic....

That's just totally unread.

All the best luck your way and follow up with clean pictures.

back from the dealership. Their body/paint guy tried buffing out the lowers with a few different pads. He tries some stuff on the chrome. Both cases it barely removed any of the splatter.

Guess I'll see what the insurance adjuster has to say.

Looks like road stripe paint, I see it all the time. Wet sanding it off always works but it is real time consuming and the risk of going through the clear is always there. I would check a couple shops, and look for the ol timer that's been there the longest. He'll have the trick.

Yup, I was starting to think traffic paint as well. That's some tough stuff. Best of luck.

Not to get all Religious or anything but if it is a act of God, then their insurance company should first have to prove there is a God and then you can go after him. Right?
