18 people, 12 bikes and trikes. 100+ miles through the canyons for a breakfast run, stop for drinks, and back home around the lake. Mid to high 80s out here on the high desert. Took a zillion pictures and videos, UNFORTUNATELY we are remodeling the house and all the desktop computers are in storage for a few more weeks. Don't have any editing software that will run on this tablet.. Did glom a couple pictures from Facebook taken by one of the riders.

 

yes.... what a great day for a ride........1 trike......40 degrees and 80 miles........beats sitting at home........i envy you folks...........winter is coming here in iowa......highs in the low 30's and low in the teen's for the next week.......anyone want to ride.......come on up and i'll get a pot of hot coffee ready.......take care.......kal

I'm hoping one of these days we'll be in Santa Clarita area or Havasu... Love to meet up with you two!

Pete, We live mostly in Santa Clarita, Ca. Our intent was to build our retirement house and move there. Then #1 son married the nicest girl in the world and gave us our grandchildren. There house is about 15 minutes down the road. Soooo, now we have a 'vacation' house in Bullhead City, Az. We try to be there at least a week a month. The ride pictures are on Bouquet Canyon and Lake Elizabeth roads. We live in the semi-boonies of Northern Los Angeles County.

 

Yes it was! The temp was up to 26 from yesterday's 18 and only a dusting of flurries on the road with winds in the twenties. Good enough for a 78 mile ride.

Yesterday I only got in 48 miles. But when I stopped at the dealers for my usual winter hot chocolate, a HD rep was there and he said he took a phone pic of me as I pulled into the parking lot and sent it to his boss at HD and the crew he rides with.

He then thanked me for supporting HD and showing the product on the road in winter conditions. He said his riding crew gripped when it was a cold weather ride.

Then he asked me about my thoughts on the new Freewheeler that I rode in on. His boss called him back and told him to thank me for him also.

Shoot! Since I have purchased 15 HD's since 2007 including 2 CVO's, I would have thought that they could have thanked me with at least a free Street 500.


To me any day that you ride is a great day.
