Reduced Reach Seat?

I had the Reach seat on my '10 Ultra for about 2 months. Almost the most uncomfortable seat I ever seen for a touring bike. I have the same handlebar problem you describe so I chose to change the bars to a set of Khrome Works sweepers and a Mustang seat.
When I bought the TG, I opted for the Road Zeppelin seat and Harley Reach bars as the KW bars would not work with a '14. So far this has made a great combination for me. As always, your mileage may vary!

Fearless, KW bars on my Ultra required extending the controls wiring and a longer clutch cable from Harley. Brake hose was long enough but just barely.
The wiring on '14's and up with CanBus is MUCH simpler since there are way less wires and plug-n-play extension kits can be bought. Clutch and brake hoses may be a different animal but I haven't had to deal with those yet.
Hope this helps!
