I haven't rode my 2014 TG and want to get a LRS while the sale is on.
- stock is 13"?
-how short will dark tint need to be to never be an issue?
- I am 5'-10" and would like to look over it or maybe buy 2 on sale.
thanks

Go to Long Ride Shields web site and they have a tutorial on how to measure for your specific height.

MY stock 2014 measures 10.5" from the top of the screw head to the top of the shield. I guess that means a 10" LRS will be a direct replacement. Will this help improve passenger air flow due to the top corners also being out a bit more than stock (ultra elite version with flip)?

Wife has a 6" on her Tri, I had an 8" on mine. I'm 5'10" and it was just the right height for me. Looked over it, and it directed the bugs and wind over my head. I started with a 4" because it looked great, but found out it was too short.

Good Luck

If I had it at home I could figure it out, still I would be using others input to confirm my options.

Before you blow money on a big question mark ,,,,,,,,, Long Ride Shields has sales 3-4 times a year. Great products & prices. Also I have had great service with them.

After doing a lot of research .... I'm now leaning towards the Clearview shield http://www.clearviewshields.com/moto...ed-windshield/

I believe that the recurve will lessen the turbulence off the top lip ... which comes down on the passenger. I also think that gas mileage will be less affected. I wish they had a similar sale .... but I am willing to pay more to get what I need to please my passenger!

This is my first HD with a windshield .... so I am perfectly happy in the front.

Anybody using a Clearview shield?????? I'd love to read your comments.
