Default Tri-Glide tail lights

I was wondering if any aftermarket company was putting the Blue Dot in the Tri-Glide tail lights, I can do this but would like a more professional looking job?

I am very interested in this modification as well...I know back in the day, there were swap meets, flea markets, as well as custom car shows who would sell new taillight lenses with the blue dots already installed. Have not seen them this way for a long time. I would be more comfortable buying them already finished. My luck tho, id get pulled over after the first mile!!! Priceless look those things give out, very cool!

I put the blue dots in my Heritage lens. Very easy to do. I used a step drill bit, installed the bluedot w/chrome ring that has tabs that bend over inside the lens. Sealed it with clear silicone.
I found the glass bluedots on EBay.
Very easy to do. I didn't have any pix of it, but looked great !

Bought the 'blue dot' at Pep Boys years ago for my Springer. Also used a step drill. The chrome base has tabs you bend over inside the lens. Bought a chrome skull with blue eyes for my Dyna. Going to have to stop at the local Pep Boys and see if they still stock them. Make my 'Free' a little different.

Thanks for the idea

I have done everything I can to make my ride visible from the rear. Bright red means stop!! Why would you want something less? Someone rear ends you, all they have to do is say they didn't recognize your brake lights.

Am I missing something, other than maybe they look cool?

The blue dots seem to catch everyone's attention, where the red is just red, the light with a blue dot is different. Bright is bright, but something that is bright & different is some way is better in my book.
Besides they look cool ! LOL !!

J&P has the lens w/dots. http://www.jpcycles.com/harley-lenses
I would check local laws about them. Some places say ok for rear lighting, but not for turn or brake. Others none at all, & some are ok with them anywhere on the rear. So check first.
Other dealers also have just the dots & lens with them also. Just do a search for Harley blue dot tail light lens.
The dots give a purple hue to the red, but there is still a red light.

yes they have lens but they are for bikes that have a license plate or lag above them so they have the clear lens where as a trike doesn't. putting tape or some other thing in the clear area just doesn't do it for me.
thanks
