I see that some have it some don't...Why do you have a rear bumper on the Trike ?

Looks
Safety
Something else to shine/clean

I have it for combination of looks and to protect the rear. Easy to hit something when backing up, plus I like the way it looks

Well our bumper saved the dealer! While the trike was in for warranty, the tech somehow let the trike get away from him and it rolled off the lift into a pole in the shop. The bumper was bent inward and saved the tub other than a minor paint scratch. The dealer replaced the bumper, and had the paint scratch repaired. The dealer admitted that the bumper saved this from being a major issue. Other than that, I like the look.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. I think that the bumper will look really nice on the bike, and, it doesn't hurt that it will protect the trunk and tub from minor bumps and such. The best price that I found for it was from SurDyke.

Ditto on all the above ... but ... if I were to be totally honest ... I put my circa 2006 Screaming Eagle Slash Out Slippons on my TG ... I loved the sound, little deep but really pretty quiet ... however ... the slash outs looked kinda funky to me ... I put the bumper on to hide some of the pipe that sticks out ... now ... I really like the look of the slash outs because you can only see a little bit of it ... tones it down if you will.
