I would first want to know which one is the most accurate ... right now they read the same (within a half of a mile) so I guess it doesn't matter
So FuzzyWuxHe? Did you ever figure out if the infotainment gets the speed signal from GPS signal or the bikes vehicle speed sensor VSS? I'm attempting to recalibrate my speedometer for the 18 agitator wheels I switch to with my TTS master tuner. No matter what number I put in there it doesn't change on the speedOMETER or the gps reading? It appears the infotainment is getting the speed signal from the VSS....
I too will try using my Garmin nuvi to check this..
FYI, just got a V&W FP3 tuner... nice little function to tweak your speedo accuracy based on your phone's GPS. Second Wind (my Freewheeler) was 2.3% off, now spot on the money. That translated to about a needle's width on the speedo, FWIW.
I use TTS and have set my VSS to 2462. It gives me about 1 mph wiggle room. I had it at 2487 and it was spot on vs. GPS. I went back and found an old post I did when I changed the sprocket on my 2010, but I never noted the stock setting on my 2012. Can anyone who can read their VSS on a 2011-2013 remember what the stock value is?

Revising this old thread, and given the chance to add to the past headache you had with all this information, I recently took a trip and did a write up on this very topic... sort of.
It was more about total riding distance and fuel monitoring than anything else. The page is titled Motorcycle Mileage Math and Science - 2014 Softail Deluxe CVO Spedometer/Odomoeter vs. Garmin Zumo GPS and the link is here: http://www.arpaia.com/mileage.html.
