No, what you need is the extension plug (part # 69200722). On the '14 and '15's the plug is now located behind the left panel cover near the fuse block.

Default Zeppelin Seat

I installed a Harley Rider Adjustable Backrest on my 2014 Trike this winter, If I purchased a Zeppelin Seat would that back rest still be usable?

Get off for just fuel and a drink and I am good to go for another 3 hours. I like the Zep. But as previously stated by many all people are different what works for one MAY NOT work for another. My wife and I ride 3 trips a year. The middle one anywhere from 6 to 10 thousand miles. the other 2 trips are around 3 thousand miles each. With that said I spend some time on the trike for a good evaluation. Just FYI the stock seat, I would not last but about 2 hours and have to get off. And each successive riding stint it was worse. By the time we had gone 400 to 500 miles I had to quit for the day.
Thanks. I have 5 different seats, and found hammock with air hawk R pad best. Just don't like having to remove pad when stopped. Plus I'm a big guy so thinking bigger seat better ride? Gonna sell the others and buy the Zep. Last one though!!!!!

Got mine installed this morning. I adjusted up the seat and right away could feel the difference. I like the back bladder and how it supports you. Went for lunch in the next town over. It is only a 14 mile ride each way but it was enough to tell me I had spent my money well.
Installing the seat screw wasn't a problem once I tucked the passenger backrest into the tourpak. I also like the way that the passenger seat now fills the space between the backrest and the end of the seat. I hope the wife will think it is more comfortable. Now to buy her some hand holds.

So I read all the post and not sure.....will part # 51072-09 fit on a 14 Tri? Looks like there is a new part # 52000201.
Also, on the 51072-09 model do you find it to put you in the same position as stock? (Posted on another Forum also)

Another seat to look nto,

I've never sat on one but quite a few long distance riders swear by them.

I have one on my 2012 Wing, best money I ever spent. Last year my dad and I ended up doing a 860 mile day, I could have kept right on riding. They are not cheap, I have a touch over $1,000 in mine.
