Trikes gassed, aired, oiled, and packed. GPS programmed, GoPro mounted, MP-3 loaded with tunes. Heading to Bullhead City, Az. tomorrow then off to Phoenix, Sedona, Jerome, Prescott Valley and a stop in Seligman for a root beer float. Not sure how we will be on the road, this retired gig is fun!! Good shakedown cruise for the new scoots.

 

............hey all the places you mentioned I have been there.....the ride through Jerome is real neat....you will like the view........good places to stop in Jerome.....when you go by phoenix.....wave to Jodi arias....she is in jail.......enjoy the road...and be careful......maybe you can post pics !!!!!

I almost forgot. When we were passing through Bellmont Az. a couple of summers ago, we dodged the rain by stopping into Grand Canyon H-D. After picking a couple of shirts at the dealer, we ran through the rain to the little cafe that is in the same parking lot as the dealer. When we walked through the door, we noticed a guy eating a very good looking steak dinner, and when when we sat down, we each ordered one as well. The waiter said that he'd fire up the grill and would be right back. Boy were we surprised when he brought out two raw steaks and handed them to us! The deal there is that you cook them yourself. They had all kinds of different seasonings, and you can put whatever you want on your steak. I only brought this up because you'll be passing right through there just before you have your rootbeer float.You could do lunch in Bellmont and 45 miles later have dessert in Selligman.

 

Been to that restaurant several times. Very Good!
