Question Disabled: Hand Controlled Brake Options

So I know there are plenty of options out there for push button shifting but what options are out there for breaking to use the hand control for both front and rear?

www.klever2.com - a bit on the pricey side but an option, also Trike Talk forum has http://www.triketalk.com/forum/forum...nabled-Trikers section that discusses other options, check it out.

Thanks for the info. That lever is a little pricey. I checked out that forum and not much concrete but some good ideas for where to start.

It's been over 5 years since I searched for the same thing but I just can't seem to locate some of the other products that are out there. Being a right above knee amputee the option that I chose was to have the rear brake pedal moved to the left side, shift and brake with your left foot. So Cal Trike Center has a kit for that, Adventure Motorcycle of Weston, OH did mine and I like the setup, they fabricated a bracket and used that.

Thanks again guys. I'm looking into this for my step-dad who recently had both legs amputated just below the knee.

Sorry to hear about that, once he gets used to his prosthetics he may not even need any modifications, hear about a lot of BKA's that get by without any.

It's coming up on 6 years since I became a Right AKA and I'm finding myself still improving as far as being able to things that I couldn't do before.

Best of luck and a speedy recovery to your Step Dad.

That's good to hear. It's still early in the process but hopefully he does regain enough functionality to ride without modification. I'm sure its a continuous learning process.

Thank you for your help and well wishes.
