Default Chrome lower forks

Any idea how difficult it is to remove and replace the front lowers on 2015 Tri glide? Can get a set out of Cali for $180. Is it worth replacing with chrome?

What was the labor hours to do it if you don't mind me asking. I always do book flat time and add 50% for me to do it ... LOL ... I always take longer ... clean everything while it's apart, and always find other "stuff" to do while I'm in there.

6 for you? Probably 12 for me. I know my limitations and I had the dealer do mine as part of the purchase accessory package. They do look great.

In the Navy I repaired Nuclear Reactors ... pretty sure I could do this ... given a manual and time ... I just always seem to find "more stuff" to do when I take stuff apart.

Not a Trike guy - but it took me 3 hours to do my Ultra. - BE ADVISED - there is significant load on the springs so be ready - have towels and rags to protect your fender - measure fluid removed for proper refill and the BIG ONE. There is a special tool for aligning the ignition - I have done it with and without - a lot easier with the tool, but it cost between $60 - $95 depending on where you buy it.
