What an outstanding day!
What a great day!! We received a flyer that one of our 'breakfast joints' was sold and changed names. We rode out to give it a try. Exactly the same, it is "Daddy Z's" now instead of Telly's. Great breakfast. Came home the long way around Castaic Lake, into the Leona Valley, around Spunky Reservoir and Bouquet Canyon. Of all the days to leave the GoPro on my desk. Must have been a gazillion bikes out (give or take a few million). Light windbreakers on the way out, shirt sleeves riding home. 150 miles for an omelet. It is 90* outside now!

Sounds like fun!

Yesterday we ride 120 miles round trip from San Diego area to Newport Beach. We took 5 North to San Clemente, then the PCH the rest of the way. But, I forgot yesterday was the height of spring break. Man what a lot of traffic in the towns like Laguna Beach...and it started getting hot. We intended to go to Balboa Island...but gave up and turned around in Southern Newport Beach. To avoid the tourist traffic, we took the 5 all the way home. Traffic moved well, so I was able to set the speed control at 70 to 75 most of the way. IMHO, the TriGlide seems happiest at that speed on the freeways.

Today, I took a ride with no real destination.
Left home and headed west a little way to Crosby, TX and then hit old Hiway 90 toward Beaumont. Rode through Dayton and Liberty.
Stopped in Liberty at Novrosky's (say that 3 times real fast!) for some gumbo and to watch a police chase on the TV.
Then took a back road, FM 563, back toward I-10 and then home.
About 75 miles in 80+ degree temps with beautiful blue Texas sky above.
A great way to try to get over a bad case of bronchitis!!
