Am I missing something here? Can you have the navigation speak it`s direction prompts without having to listen to music such as the radio, media files etc.? I tried muting but that also muted the navigation prompts.

 

I wonder if you turn to aux mode, but did not have anything playing. Sorry I do not have the same system, but that would be the first thing I would try. But then I always have SiriusXM radio playing.

I would of never guessed that ... thought maybe you where a ventriloquist or had a pet monkey

 

I asked my dealer that question. It floored him. After a moment of thought, he came up with the same answer. Cswitch ahe auio to media, then turn on Nav.

 

That`s also what I got from the HD Owners page. I have not tried it yet though. I will let you know.

 

I have a 15 ultra limited and lowered the radio to 1 bar and the nav unit played loud and clear at 80 mph. On my unit the mute did not mute the nav unit I'm not sure why.

On my 2014 TriGlide I just turn down the volume on either the radio are media and the navigation still comes loud and clear.
