I also purchased this extended seat bolt. After several drops and hours looking for the screw each time, this has turned out to be the best value for the money. Have never had an incident since and I have road Zeppelin seat.

I had one of like this from J&P and tightened it up as tight as I could get it. Went to take the seat off a month or so later and it was gone. Either someone "borrowed" it or it worked loose. Now I just use the milk jug trick. If you get one of these that you can turn in with your figures, better check it often to see if it is still tight.

 

Have had mine on 3 diff bikes, still have it. Did not buy it at J&P ...H&D
