I see you back rest had to be ordered to. You would think they would stock the same amount of backrests as they keep backrest mounts.
Your gonna love it. We really like ours. Some venders are already making things for the flrt. Progressive will have rear shocks next month, cobra already has new slip on's available now There is much more to come. I would like to see someone make a speaker pod that fits between the rear fender and side cover for the passenger, just add lowers with speakers and you have a sound system that has a clean look about it.

Nice to see others are enjoying the Freewheeler. I have had mine since last September and love it more every time I ride it. I too was considering exhaust options for the trike but never could find what I was looking for (my main concern was clearance as not to drag the pipes or back into a curb ... historically I've been known to do both). As, we all know, new stuff for the Freewheeler is slow in coming out. However, COBRA introduce a new "specifically" designed exhaust for the trike. They are 23 inches long (to compensate for the short trunk design of the Freewheeler), and 3 inch that ends in a 4 inch flare just past the trunk exhaust flare). In my case they extend 3/4 in. past the trunk. They sound great ... and they are burning in sweet. So, without further ado, this is what the look like

I installed the D&D Exaust 3 1/2" Touring mufflers with the new style 2" Vortex baffle and the short round Billet end caps ( They sound awesome everyone loves the deep throaty tone without being obnoxious) The short Billet end caps keep the mufflers shorter so they did not stick out way to far like some mufflers I have seen installed on the Freewheeler ( The mufflers sticking way out the back of the Freewheeler is not for me )
The Cobra mufflers were my second choice but I did not want a 2 1/2" baffle in the Cobra mufflers and preferred the 2" baffle design of the D&D mufflers. ( The 2" baffles will maintain more low end mid torque more often than not)
The D&D mufflers without the end caps installed are 27" long. The short rounded Billet end caps add about 1 1/4" to them and keeps the mufflers tucked nicely behind the chrome bumper ( not sticking out to far at all a very clean look ) The D&D 3 1/2" touring mufflers are the same length as the stock Freewheeler mufflers without the end caps installed.
My Freewheeler runs and sounds great, no fuel injection or A/C mods needed.
