New Firmware update 1.19.0

The last one 1.18.3 was added because of the fiasco with 1.18.2. That one caused a lot of people to loose the map function on the GPS. 1.18.3 was also supposed to correct a problem a lot of people had with the radio auto dimming feature, they would not go bright after dimming. I never had this problem until I flashed 1.18.3. Now mine is opposite it will not auto dim I have to do this manually. I contacted HD corp. about this and also when I was going to the dragon my GPS time would go back an hour then after awhile correct itself then go back an hour and I was not near any time zone boundaries.
I just flashed the new 1.19.0 thinking maybe this flash would at least make my auto dim feature work again but no such luck.

No such luck. The biggest thing and the only thing I've checked so far: when I jab the Home switch on the left it should go to the Home screen, right? Not advance to the next audio input immediately.
Holding it to go to the Home screen for 3 full seconds is stupid and distracting. I use the Home screen all the time to select the different functions and settings; how often does anyone want to call up AM or WBS every time you bump the switch??? Three more bumps to get back to that tune you were listening to. Hit the switch wrong when skipping a song or making a volume adjustment? Three more times.
Do that function on the 3 count instead. Yeah, there's a panel button for Home, but it requires taking your hands off of the bars. I mean there's even a little picture of a home on the switch, right???
Hey, I have never had much to complain about on the system before, aside from things that were flat out broken; heck, I think that most of the functions are fine. I actually like the way the GPS stuff works, use the heck out of it and don't understand half the complaints about it. But this one is just nuts. Or am I missing out on something? Maybe I should have a Snickers.

It sounds like you have the Classic Mode enabled. Uncheck it in the setup screen from the Home menu.

I installed the update and finally got around to testing it today.
It screwed-up one thing that soon became obvious. My lady and I use the intercom. We turn the volumes on the front and rear up all the way. [I'm not talking about the VOX setting].
All is well until I turn the bike off. When it is restarted, the front volume remains all the way up, but the rear volume has reverted to all the way down.
I've tried all the settings I can find and nothing helps. I'm quite sure it didn't do this before the update.
Also . . . I still find the programming of "favorites" and various radio stations quite convoluted. But it was this way before the update.
