I agree that it could have been done at the factory by someone using a pneumatic wrench, but, I have read multiple times in this forum about this problem. Either the bolt hole has been stripped or the bolt head has been snapped off. Either one of these things could happen due to over torquing the bolt on the assembly line. Be interested to see if just one of the wrenches was set too high, or one of the workers was a little over zealous with the wrench.

my right side bolt sheared off & broke part of the head casting off. harley had to R&R the front head.don't let them jerry-rig this fix, because you will have the same vibration in 2 years from now that caused the problem. if they don't want to R&R the head i'd go to a different dealer.

It must be an issue, it's on the 10k check list to check torque.

They replaced the frame under his original warranty. It took 3 weeks from start to finish. He's pleased with the repair. He did have it in for the 10k checkup and that's where the dealership caught it.

Mine is going in on Wednesday morning. Mine was caught on the 5,000.
The top bolt is sheared off. They told me it may take a few hours, if there
Isn't to much lock tite on it, or may take up to ten hours. We shall see.
I don't think the two wheelers have a damper/stabilizer.

Top engine mount is the same on the Trike and the 2 wheeler.

My mistake, talking about motor stabilizer, not the steering stabilizer damper.
