Default Fuel additives

Question I just read an article about Sta-bil 360 anyone using this or anything like it. I'm more than just curious. I know the fuel we use is not that good for air cooled engines or any motors for that matter. all comments welcome ride safely fearless

Interested too. We are headed out west and I know we're going to run into crummy fuel.
What about Lucas brand booster?

This may be a little off-topic from the OP, since I am not sure exactly what Sta-bil 360 is supposed to do.

Picked up a bottle of AmsOil Dominator Octane Booster at local shop before we headed into the mountains of NC/TN last month. One bottle to raise 15 gallons 4 octane points. Sure enough, had to gas up at one station that only had 87 regular, no premium. used a third of the bottle with the fill, and noticed no knock or ping. I'll keep the rest for future trips.

Can't get much 'wester' than me, 40 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Ethanol is illegal for the most part in California, EPA rules or something. Wife and I have ridden as far east as Colorado, then down south to the Mexican border and all states in between, never got any bad gas.

Back on subject, I use Sta-Bil in my boat and Jet Skis during the winter. The Harleys are ridden year round so we have no need for it.

Ohio to California and back last year, the only places we found that didn't have the 'required' premium gas were small towns in the big corn states. 85 and E85 were your choices.

I was just careful not to lug the motor any or load it up too much until I could get a tank of the good stuff. Didn't have any pinging, and I didn't feel the ignition pull the timing back or anything.

Conditioner for fuel system I believe it is a new product or at least to me. Not sure if needed just wanted a little input if anyone is using it.

Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner. This stuff works. It is a synthetic additive and I have found nothing better. When my motor starts to ping in hot weather, I add 4 oz's to a full tank and the ping is gone 1/2 way thru the full tank. It cleans the combustion chamber, valves and top of piston. It is a must use if you run a tuner that is increasing fuel supply to motor. (carbon)
