Default 2015 freewheeler trailer wiring

Does anyone know how to wire in a plug to pull a trailer? I ordered a plug and play harness from Dennis Kirk but it is only a 6 way plug and the freewheeler is an 8 way plug.

I used Bushtec for my 2014 TG, works great, no issues....just returned from a 6231 mile trip across the country pulling my Bushtec Roadstar, rain, hail, 106 degree temps....no problems at all. electrical Connection also makes them

Does your 14 TG have a 6 or 8 molex connector for the turn signals?
Thanks for the reply, I'm kinda in a panic with Sturgis less than a week away.

Is the tail lamp connector just under the rear of the seat?

I was just informed by a Harley dealership that does install hitches that the tri glide uses a six pin and the freewheeler uses an 8 pin. So the wiring has to be specific to a freewheeler.

sdfreewheeler I used this guy to get my wire harness. He is great and very knowledgeable. Call him if you have any questions, I am sure he can answer your questions or steer you in the right direction.

Just sharing info, not affiliated with him in any way

That is the guy that insisted that the Tri Glide wiring was the exact same as the FLRT. So I now have a useless connector for the FLRT.

I'm really surprised by that. He must not have much experience with the FW or something. Sorry to steer you wrong then!
