DK---looking to get the trike lift-

Had my dealer in Louisville KY instLl, one hour labor.
I noticed a big difference in ride and I think it steers easier...wife noticed a big difference in ride quality.
We went with the comfort lift kit

As stated, they would probably not even know it was there...but technically they could only void a part of the warranty...just the parts on the bike that are affected by the rear suspension, and only if they somehow believed that it was due to the Lift Kit. We have never heard of any dealer doing this.

I had my HD dealer install mine. It seems like they would really have egg on their face if they installed something that would adversely affect the HD warranty especially if they didn't disclose that fact in writing to the customer.

You'll find many dealers who don't know the finer points of the warranty and who don't care. They'll grab the cash every time, leaving the owner with any problems should they arise.
