Default Trike lift kit

I have a lift kit I want to put on my 2011 Tri glide. My question is I'm very mechanically inclined but when I looked under the trike I noticed the 4 bolts you have to loosen and take off are held on by long bolts that seem to pinch a spot on the axle. So if I loosen and remove the bolts it looks like the axle will move and shift. Am I correct? Doesn't seem any other way to install these.

If you email us at Support@DKCustomProducts.com and ask for a copy of the installation instructions, we will get them emailed out to you.

There is nothing in the installation process of either one of our Lift Kits that requires all the pinch bolts to be loosened, allowing the axle to shift position.

There is only 3 bolts on the freewheeler. But No the axle does not move.
Hold the new plate next the the one on it so you can see which bolts has to come out.
