Default Anyone having issues starting in gear?

2015 TriGlide - From time to time I am unable to start the bike in gear. I can squeeze the clutch and jam the end into the handle grip and no-go. Shift to "N" and the friggin things starts.

No issues here, pull in clutch, step on brake and she'll start ( also front brake works for starting in gear)

Yep, according to what I've heard on this forum, on the 2015's one of the brakes have to be applied in addition to pulling in clutch.

Dang, thanks for the info on the brake.

The 2015 Touring Manual page 135 on starting the engine, states "Apply brake to prevent movement of the motorcycle." Thought that was just a cover your *** comment.

Will test tomorrow.

Thanks

Friggin salesperson told me it would only start in "N", then I read the book and found out he was speaking with fork tongue. BUT, as my original post, I wasn't able to start in gear. Now holding the break, it starts! :-)

From what I now understand, it isn't limited to Tri-Glides, it is all Touring models
