First, prayers for all concerned. Allow her some time and see how the boyfriend heals. I will bet he gets back on a bike. Take it easy with the wife and explain how much you want to ride.

Just wanted to give a update. All the drivers are home and resting. My daughter boy friend was released yesterday head is healing and no swelling! Thank you all for your prayers and comments.

In time I would simply explain to your wife that a plane could land on your house, you could get hit by a drunk driver while walking on the sidewalk ... Life is one big uncertainty .. if she still can't get behind you, I'm sure the dealer will understand, maybe even refund your deposit. We all do what we need to do for our family.

Happy Wife, Happy Life. However, you still need to do what you feel you need to do. I was out of Motorcycles for almost 25 years. 65 and bought the TriGlide. Wife understands the risks.

Thank you all. Wife changed her mind She is a biker babe now. We have just 200 miles on the 2016 still smells new. She has smiles on her face after every ride, and so do I
