I run 75 all day. No worries except fuel stops.

In 5th, 60 mph runs nice, purrs like a kitten. In 6th, same thing at 70. You should be able to pull most hills at 70-75 mph. May need a downshift on some hills. On relatively flat terrain, wind resistance will be your biggest enemy. I had a very hard time going 80 (speed limit) in Utah up hills and with a headwind, and was getting run down by truckers.

Here in MT. the freeway speed is 75 MPH. I have run the trike all day at 80MPH with speeds up to 90MPH at stretches and had zero problems. You can safely cruise all day at 80 / 85 mph. Gas mileage seems best at about 75 MPH . If you broke your motor in right you will have no problems. I just switched to Mobil 1 syn. at 5K miles and the bike/trike is very happy.

75 on the slab all day long. 30,000 + with no issues other than running that way usually results in spitting a little oil out the AC.

Runs best at about 70-72 in 6th....best MPG also. A lot of my 2 wheel buddies like to run 80-85. I tell 'em to jump out there, I know where we're going/staying. I'll be there maybe 7-10 minutes later and feel a whole lot safer.

75 to 80 on the slab. Had it up to 95 mph into a head wind, didn't feel like there was a whole lot left.
