Default Done riding for the season early

I pull the trike up on car ramps when I am going to work on it. Pulled up on ramps, and I went to put the Ebrake on the 2013 Tri Glide (hand lever on right) while I was push down on the lever, my Bicep muscle cramped. Thought nothing of it but a day later had big bruise by my elbow. Went to Doc and they sent me to Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN. I tore the main Bicep tendon. So going for surgery on Tues. They said I would be back to full motion in 4 mo.

Well that plain sucks. Be almost November once you are back at it. Heal quickly!

Thanks guys, just be carful pushing the 50Lb brake
Never had a problem before, guess it was just time for the body to say give me a break. Rode pretty hard this season with just shy of 10K.
The wife said she was ready for a rest anyway.

I've read lots of discussion about the park brake but this is a first. Sorry to hear that. 4 months will put us well into January with no riding in Wisconsin so you will have a couple "extra" months to heal.

Now you have an excuse to stay home and watch the football games. Take care of yourself, do what the Doc tells you and get well soon.

Maybe this will work out, buddy of mine just offered to put the new CAMs in and I can supervise. Works for me.

That's a bummer, heal up well!

"Supervising" your bud installing new cams will be a nice consolation!

Wow, sounds like it hurts bad. Good luck with the surgery and rehab.
