Default solid wheel?

Is it possible, or has anybody tried putting a Fat Boy solid wheel on a Tri Glide? Inquiring minds are at work.

Front wheel from Fat Boy. I believe American Racing outlaw I wheels for the back could be used and would be a close match appearance wise to the Fat Boy rim. Some of these front rims have a bolt circle on the right side that looks like the other brake rotor would bolt right on. Would of course have to have same hub width as Tri Glide wheel.
Just trying to come up with different customizing ideas.

Well I hope someone has the answer to this question because I have been looking at the new polished chrome fatboy rims and it would be easy to match up the rear. I am working on the wifes Freewheeler and I think this would be a good look for it. I wonder if you could do away with one brake on one side, I know the wifes trike has only the linked brakes no ABS and I think 4 brakes on the freewheeler is overkill anyways.

Neither the AR Outlaw I or II wheels are available in a suitable backspace that will fit a TG or FW. Not available in a four lug, either.

I knew I would have to redrill the axels. With a tape measure the bolt pattern looks to be about 4.25 inches. Could be metric? Something Harley did to prevent easy custom wheels? Had not looked into back spacing or rim width yet.

Yes,the bolt pattern is 4x4.25 or 4x108mm. Drilling the axles is unnecessary as lots of wheels are available for a TG or FW. A 6" wide wheel with 3"-3.25" backspace will fit as will a 7" w/3.5".

Seriously old thread, but did the answer ever come?

Did anyone ever fit fatboy wheels on an FLRT?
