Default Upgrades

Got my TriGlide back from the dealer last week. Upgrades included HD Mini Apes, Progressive Suspension Monotube front fork cartridges and turn signal button extensions. Late in the fall I had Progressive 444 shocks installed. Looking for a little smoother ride since my back is not what it used to be. Now just need Spring to happen. Winter is holding me and Oscar37 hostage in upstate NY!

Let us know how you like the 444 shocks. I have the same issue with my back. I am wanting to put the 444 shocks on my freewheeler but am not sure how easy it would be to adjust them once on the bike. Also curious if you like the monotube set up on the front end. Thanks... hope for spring soon.

No ride report until this friggin` winter breaks in upstate NY. Winter is holding Oscar37 and me hostage! We are going to Daytona Bike Week this year. Hope that helps with "cabin fever"!

I feel your pain. The dealership dropped off my new 2016 with all the mods I wanted on Friday afternoon. It was 16 degrees. Friday night the snow started, we got 30 inches. The only riding I get to do is in the garage after I snow blow and shovel 160 feet of driveway.

Had some good weather where I am in NYS, I had to take trike out and check on the Progressive Monotubes and HD Mini Apes I had installed last month. Put about 25 miles on it. Handlebars give me more leverage when turning which I was looking for. Progressive Suspension rides smoother on roads with a lot of imperfections and expansion joints. Large bumps/holes are still there but suspension absorbs them better. Corners better too. These things are never going to be smooth due to being a short wheelbase vehicle with a solid axle in my opinion. Upgrades all for the better in the long run. Now the best upgrade I had done was the HD extensions for the turn signal buttons on each side. Much easier to use and especially with gloves on! There you have it!
