I know my name is Shortsporty, but I will take delivery of a 2015 Freewheeler. I am coming off a '07 Sporty with 60k miles. I will miss my Sporty, but looking forward to putting miles on my Freewheeler. Any tips will be appreciated.

 

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new ride!

Once you get it, it is going to be a lot different than the Sporty, but trikes have their own kind of fun!

Ride it around in an open/empty parking lot to get the feel of it. If you've ridden ATV's it is a lot like them, steering wise.

Ride it, then start making it your own. Here's a link to the many things I've done to our 14 Tri-Glide, just to get some ideas percolating. But riding it, and seeing what you like and what you'd like to be different is the best tip I can give.

Wecome! You will find good people here.I went from a RoadKing to my Freewheeler due to an injury and bad knees. It reminds me of driving a small sports car

 

Went from a Sporty 1200 Custom to a Freewheeler last July......haven't looked back!!! Love the FW!!
