Thinking about a 2015 Trike with Black Magic Paint. Have to buy sight unseen. Any comments on the color? Doesn't seem to be a popular color. Is there a reason? Sort of like the purple on the 16's?

 

I dig it. It wouldn't slow me down at all on a bike purchase.

I bought a 2015 trike last July with the Black Magic paint.

My wife fell in love with it at first sight.

According to the dealership, Harley only painted 7 trikes that color in the USA last year, and I got one.

Trust me you will love it. It looks like a gray color in the shade, but turns a blue gray with silver flakes in the sunlight.

Really pops and is a conversation starter everywhere we go.

Also has a lot of custom pin striping on fenders, tank, etc.

I seen one after I special order my 14 Darkened Caynane Red in September of 14. They didn't have that in 15, didn't want it in two tone. So I picked it up, one month latter Magic Black came in. It was sweet. Had me thinking.
Can't go wrong.

 

Black magic is the second best color after black (the fastest color). I think If I were to get a new TriGlide, black magic would be my choice, it really looks great.

 

Let me just say it was not my first choice until I actually saw it out in the sun... Wow it popped. I went in expecting to purchase a black one, but ended up getting the black magic for a unbelievable price, it was almost the same cost as the black one after they discounted it. Also more than 4K less than the red one I wanted to purchase in Tenn.

One note, I had multiple blems in the paint... the biggest was a quarter size rub through under the travel pack. Could not see it when I picked it up, but saw it when the sun hit it a certain way. The second one was on the fender, looked like buffing compound under the clear coat. Harley replaced the fender and after much discussion replaced the box also with a new one.

If someone can confirm the only 7 with that color that would be an interesting item to know. I think though I have seen more than that on sale on the internet, so that seems a bit low.

Not good at inserting pics. My wife has one in black magic as well as two others in the local HOG chapter with the number I saw last Aug in our travels, 7 is more like 70

We all know that politicians and dealers like to stretch the truth.

I was skeptical when they told me there were only 7 painted in 2015.
