Advice for Stage 3 Mods
A while back I had the stage 3 installed at the local shop and dyno'd. This included the 259E cams said to be best for trikes. Torque was 92.86 and power was 89.16. I subsequently replaced the mufflers with stock CVOs. I'm only getting about 31 mpg averaging 40mph to 65mph and the cams don't seem to kick in at all until 3000rpm. We don't do a lot of interstate riding. I'd rea I don't know how she responds after about 4000+rpm. I would like to get more torque on the low end towards 2000 and possibly improve mileage if that's not a stretch. Do you think different cams would help and then a dyno? Would appreciate some advise.

I found your numbers interesting. You did not say whether you had the Stage 3 street or Pro installed. I had the Stage 3 Pro kit put in my '15 Road Glide Special last Sept. I had an Indie do it. Harley apparently changed the cam that came with this kit from the 259E to the new 585. His Dyno is a tad on the conservative side. He's also honest and reliable. My bike dynoed at 97.2 hp and 115 ft lbs of torque. It came on real strong at about 2300 rpm and the torque was amazing. Not sure what's up with yours. I was VERY pleased with the results.

I forgot to mention that my complaints are on a 2012 TG with most all riding 2 up. The stage 3 kit is the " professional" one and includes the SE pro super tuner which the HD shop used for the dyno. They didn't give me a choice on any cams other than the 259 as part of the kit. With Wiz getting much better results with the same set up, I don't know which way to try to go --redyno, different cams or ??? For all practical purposes I'm "engine illiterate" so I'd really appreciate any recommendations you guys can offer.

My numbers were with a Road Glide, they will be a bit better than a TG because of the weight and tire contact. That kit should have come with a 585 cam I think is what mine came with unless you bought an older kit that had the 259 in they used to use. Looking at the SE catalog from the 259 to the 585 I can see where the torque comes on later on that one.
