Just curious. Any riding courses out there on the west end of US for trike riders?

Any riding courses around. I know MT. does not offer any. I called the MSF but they did not know at the time if any riding courses were available for the trike riders. Got me wondering if any were offered at all. I know there are a few but they are few and far between. Thanks in advance. I don't really need a course but Id like to take an advanced trike course someday just for fun if there are any.

Yes. The Idaho STAR training organization offers a Sidecar/Trike class. Their classes are taught all over the state, starting in late spring. I just arranged for a class to be taught in Lewiston, Idaho last fall.

The web site is http://idahostar.org/

The link to the Sidecar/Trike Course: http://idahostar.org/courses/sidecar-trike

Highly recommended!

All of their classes are outstanding. After the state of California just fired MSF, they hired STAR's Director to help design California's new motorcycle training and testing curricula.

I took the course three years ago and I learned a lot. It taught me how to ride properly and trust both the bike and myself on it. The day after the course I took off from home, after 20 minutes I realized my confidence level had increased a lot.

Ride safe

Just to get you all excited...one of the things they teach you is how to drift a trike through a corner. Seriously.
