Which Progressive Rear Shocks on a TriGlide
My rear seat commander has stated that before we do another big trip, I need to do something about the ride harshness. When we are touring, we are about 475 pounds. When just me around town I'm 250#.
In either 1 up, or fully loaded for touring, I'm running 26 pounds in the tire's and 25 psi in the OEM air shocks. The TG handles well, but you feel every bump in the road. Larger bumps rattle my brain around.
I have a lift kit, with stock air shocks.
So, I'm thinking I will install Progressive shocks in the rear. After much research, I am leaning towards the 444 shocks. Just as I have decided, I noticed the is now a standard version, and a heavy duty version.
So, how do I decide? What have you all used, and what is your experience with similar loads?
Thanks...

Stick with a 13" length when using the lift kit, some folks are running PN 444-4020B which you can find on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Progressive-Su.../dp/B007GRGWDY or do some shopping and see if you can find a better price.
Amazon says they won't fit my 2011 TG.
I looked on their website and found part number 444-4074B listed for a 2011 TG.
Does this one sound right??

Installed: DK comfort lifts, Russell Day Long Seat, Progressive 444 shocks in the rear (stock length because I already had the lifts and installed upside down for easy adjustments) and Progressive fork springs. These mods were done 1 at a time...by far the best improvements I felt were from the shocks and springs. Ride 2 up 99% of the time (500 lbs)
