Default DK tank lift question

Looking at putting it on a 12 tri glide but what does it do to the front lip of the seat? Since the front of the seat hooks i to the tab on the tank will it not raise the seat at a strange angle.....

I lifted the front of the tank with the DK 1.5" lift, no lift in the back and do not notice anything on the seat nose angle. Probably is a very slight change but not noticable to me. I do have less buffeting with less air over the top of the tank. I can't speak to any higher lift than the 1.5". I'm sure others will chime in here that have a higher lift.

I just installed the 1.5 inch tank lift today with the deluxe option for the back of the tank. I didn't like how loose the the seat was so I removed the seat and bent the tank tab down to make the tank fit tighter.

I went to the 2" lift deluxe raised rear of tank 1/2" to get rid of glasses dance works great for me actually suppose to get more air on motor to run cooler twin cams need all the help they can get . looks good easier to clean rocker covers as a plus. would like to see what 2 1/2 would look like. Seat hooks in fine actually very flexible in front horn portion. ride safely fearless

I have a 1.5" inch lift on a 2013, no rear lift. I have an air zepplin seat and it works fine; I don't notice any change to the front of the seat.

Default 2" lift

I put the 2" on a '10 FLHXXX and had a problem with fitting the front tongue Went to the Hardware and purchased 3/8 tall spacers for the tanks rear. This cured the problem. Now I changed the stock bar to the 10" Twin Peakes and can't use the lifts. All I have now is a 1.25" clearance between tank and bars. Really did like the looks of a lifted tank.

1.5" on mine, with the tank lift as well....certainly helps cooling, love the look (with the heads more exposed), and easier to keep the heads clean

I did the 1 1/2" lift on my 2011.
I didn't lift the rear of the tank and didn't notice any change in the nose of the seat.
I do like the look of the lifted tank, and it makes cleaning the heads so much easier.
Helps with cooling, too.

Tank Lifts, one of those little things that make a difference!

I ran a 2" on my '11 and am running a 1.5" on my '14.
